Periodic inspections of pressure equipment

DEKRA helps end users by offering a wide range of regular inspection services for pressure equipment and boilers.

The Pressure Equipment Act requires an approved inspection body to carry out statutory inspections of pressure equipment. DEKRA, as an inspection body approved by Tukes, is authorised to carry out statutory inspections of pressure equipment.

Periodical Inspections of Pressure Equipment

DEKRA's pressure equipment inspectors are fully qualified to carry out periodic inspections of all pressure equipment, including: boilers, steam boilers, hot water boilers, hot oil boilers, air tanks, pressure vessels, autoclaves, LPG tanks, industrial gas cylinders, storage tanks, natural gas pipelines, chemical pipelines, flammable liquid tanks and many other pressure equipment.
DEKRA is accredited as a type A inspection body according to ISO 17020. DEKRA is also approved to carry out all inspections in accordance with the legislation on the transport of dangerous goods (VAK, ADR, RID, IMDG).
